The Adventure
By: Darren Sproat Jun 16th, 2010Category: Then Life Happens
The following is a piece my daughter wrote this evening. She came into my office and asked if she could sing a song she wrote and then she asked me to post it and see what others think. Please enjoy. Leave a comment as she loves to read what you have to say.
The Adventure
In the jungle, across the river, down the waterfall
Across the great flat plains into the dessert
Over the mountains and around the lakes
Through the trees and across the oceans
I never knew I could travel so far
You never knew I could guide you
To the places of this great world
Go through the forest and see the wonder of the places of this world
It’s so beautiful, magical, so beautiful
It’s the end of my adventure
I hope you can come with me next time, I’ll be there
In speaking to the author, she tells me this isn’t about traveling the world but, rather, about seeing the world for what it is… beautiful and magical.
